Comprehensive Exams

Wellness exams are your pets most important preventative medicine. Pets age 5-7 times faster than humans. This is why we recommend exams every 6 months. During an exam, we check the pet's heart, ears, eyes, teeth, skin, nutrition, muscles and joints, and talk about behavior issues. This can help us catch diseases early, or prevent future diseases.

Sick Animal Exams are used to treat a pet when they are feeling under the weather or have a medical condition. If your pet doesn't seem to be himself but you don't think he needs an emergency vet clinic, give us a call and we can evaluate and treat him. If it turns out he does need emergency vet services we can arrange to transport him for you.

Routine Diagnostics

We can take samples for these tests and usually have results within hours

  • Intestinal parasite checks
  • Skin Scraping and Ear Swabs
  • Ear Cytology for Bacteria and Yeast Infections
  • Fine Needle Aspirate Cytology

Wellness Diagnostics

We will gather the necessary specimens and send them to the lab. Results are usually available in 2-3 days.

  • CBC
  • Chemistry Panel
  • Urinalysis
  • FeLV & FIV
  • Bacterial Cultural with Antibody Sensitivity
  • 3DX for Lyme, Heartworm, and Ehrlichia

Preventive Medicine and Treatment Plans

We will work with you to outline a treatment plan that works best for your pet and with your schedule/abilities. We will write any necessary prescriptions for you to pick up or have shipped directly to your home.
